| Not a whole lot of work got done this weekend- I hung out with Sara and Jeiska everyday. BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE. Despite the bugbites. Friday was cool- just lounging around half napping on each others' stomachs and talking about nothing. Saturday we worked on the Government project/ tortured Garwin and David- then I went to Jeiska's and did math homework as we watched Disney movies. Today we had a photoshoot in the park- here's the pics my dad got. Haha. I still love the title. Lots of bugbites, but I thought it was fun. We didn't do anything phenomenal this weekend, but just hanging out everyday was awesome. | | |
| Yay- finished Peach Girl.
I liked the ending- happiness.
I was disappointed in Touji at the end, though.
Why did he have to show his bad side just as we leave him?
So now that I've finished that-
I've started watching Paradise Kiss, like Hanako.
The art is SO much better than Peach Girl's.
Very interesting style, which makes sense- since it revolves around style.
I like the characters and clothes, and the opening song is sweet- Hanako let me listen to it on her iPod in Comp. Graphics.
Man- If I keep watching all these series... oh well.
As long as I get my homework done.
I realize that if I have time for all this, once Marching Band is over, maybe I'll WANT to get a part-time job, just so I don't rot from boredom!
Gotta go practice-ums some cello.
I need to start working on the Senior Regional audition stuffehs- chuckle.
| So- I was in a mood to look up all the oodles of Disney merchandise I can find online- things that I can neither afford nor would be of any use to me. I thought Disney was a little exploitative... but this is just crossing the line to sad.
This is an Ursula Ice Hockey pin.
Yeah. I'm jumping up to buy that. She even has her front teeth knocked out like a real hockey player! Wow!
You can also buy pins where Stitch is a weightlifter, Mickey and the gang celebrate Canada Day, Ariel goes waterskiing, and Tinkerbell is from outerspace.
That is just bottom of the bucket stuff. I should join the Disney Pin Team and whip these guys into shape. I could make MUCH better pins than these. Pretty much anyone could.
Other Disney stuff I found online was this cool site. I especially like the midi files of Disney songs that you can download to your phone as ringtones. If only my phone was capable of doing such...
Now my actual life.
I feel so much better now because yesterday I finished my English essay. Or at least a first draft. All I need to do now is possibly go over the essay, do Japanese journal entries, read Japanese history packet, and finish those 3 or 4 problems on the math packet that I don't understand. I'm actually looking forward to school. I'm going to do my best to make this year a good one.
Colorguard is already going well. Jessie complimented us, which is a rare thing. I love our dances, and the routine is pretty cool, too.
To top this goodness off, I got to go shopping. AND they have kittens at the pet store now!

| Yay- hey it works!
The mac is logged in for some reason, so as long as I never log out, it won't matter that somehow my password no longer works!
Oh, so I guess I'll do an actual entry.
Not much going on. I get to hang out with people every so often- so I'm actually getting homework done without becoming a hollow, soul-less shell. I am due for another hanging though.
I'm doing a page of math a day. It's not hard but I'm not motivated.
Jane Eyre is REALLY good- I've less than 70 pages to the end. I've been writing in the book for help with the essay- though sometimes it is more reactions to the plotline like "that b!t©h!," "OMG," sad faces, et cetera rather than clever notes about motifs or barfity barf. I'm in a big Disney swing right now- watch Little Mermaid and Peter Pan (Netflix!) yesterday and watched all of the behing the scenes stuff (hours of fun) for Little Mermaid.
Fun facts- like Ursula is modeled after a cross-dresser named Divine and they almost cut out the scene and song "Part of Your World" because some kid dropped his popcorn and was fussing over it during a test screening. Little b@$t@rd.
I'm knitting myself a hoodie- approximately 10 rows until I've finished the back. It's white with a blue stripe across the chesticles- with sleeves down to the elbows (I'm kind of changing the pattern for that part, but I always roll my sleeves up anyway, so I might as well just make it shorter.)
I haven't got much art done- though I'm feeling the mermaids and fairies right now (DISNEY!). I did a watercolor that I'm pretty pleased with- but I haven't uploaded it to devART yet.
So all in all I'm pretty good- just want to get out of the house more often (without taking the initiative to call people... umn... )

| So let's hang out.
Ratatouille? I don't care if you've seen it already.
